How we research our guides

LONGÉ guides help you compare home longevity, health, wellness and fitness products quickly and honestly. This page explains exactly how they are made, so you can decide how much weight to give them.

How products are selected

• We look for products that are widely available in the United States and have a substantial history of customer feedback.
• Each comparison covers products with clearly different designs or price levels, so the guide reflects a real choice rather than near-identical listings.
• We check that every product actually is what the guide is about, and we leave out listings whose key details cannot be confirmed.

What our guides are based on

• Manufacturer specifications and the product information published on the listing: dimensions, capacity, materials, modes, warranty and similar facts.
• Publicly available research and guidance from health organizations, used only for general context.

What we never do

• We do not claim hands-on testing we have not done. Unless a guide explicitly says otherwise, we have not tested the products ourselves.
• We do not invent ratings, prices, test results or customer quotes.
• We remove medical and cosmetic promises from manufacturer copy (for example "relieves pain" or "burns fat") instead of repeating them.
• We do not accept payment for placement, and brands do not review guides before they are published.

Health and safety

Our guides are informational and are not medical advice. Where a product category carries real risks or limits, such as home health monitors, weighted gear or essential oil diffusers, the guide says so and suggests when to talk to a doctor or another qualified professional.

How guides are written and reviewed

We use AI writing tools to help draft and translate guides from the source information above. Every guide is then checked by a person before it is published: product facts against the listing, claims against our rules above, and the affiliate disclosure on every page.

Updates and corrections

Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We revise guides when product details, availability or our selection change. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
